Quantity Surveyor

**Job Title:** Quantity Surveyor **About the Role:** We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh. In this role, you will oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control across construction projects, ensuring value optimization and compliance with contractual requirements. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for tender and post-contract phases - Develop and maintain project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost control reports - Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations - Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and payments - Conduct value engineering workshops to identify cost-saving opportunities - Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve commercial issues - Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and contractual obligations - Monitor project progress and update cost reports accordingly **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field - 5-8 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects - Strong technical skills in quantity surveying and cost estimation - Proficiency in industry software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Timberline) - Solid understanding of standard construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC) - Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities - Effective communication and negotiation skills - Fluent English (written and spoken) **Preferred Qualifications:** - Professional membership or certification (e.g., MRICS, RICS) - Familiarity with Saudi building regulations and local market conditions - Proficiency in Arabic - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Advanced MS Excel and financial modeling skills
