Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior NOC Network & Security Engineer (L1–L2) to monitor, troubleshoot, and support enterprise network and security infrastructure. The role involves handling connectivity issues, performing initial incident response, and executing approved network changes while ensuring adherence to operational policies and runbooks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support network and security devices including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Act as the first line of support for connectivity issues, link failures, latency problems, and interface errors.
- Identify and respond to basic security events and escalate incidents when required.
- Execute standard network configuration changes in accordance with ICP policies and operational runbooks.
- Perform initial troubleshooting, diagnostics, and incident documentation.
- Collaborate with L3/network engineering teams for complex issue resolution.
- Ensure continuous availability and performance of network infrastructure.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
- Experience with network monitoring tools and NOC operations.
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPN technologies, and basic network security concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and interface-related issues.
- Familiarity with incident management and change management processes.
