Senior Network Specialist

We are hiring for Network Specialist to join one of our major clients based out of UAE.

Role: Network Specialist

Work Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Contract – 12 months & extendable

Role Summary:

Responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures to ensure high availability, performance, and security across the organization. Acts as a technical expert for networking projects and provides advanced troubleshooting support.

Job responsibilities:

• Network Design and Implementation-

• Design and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud network solutions.
• Evaluate network performance and scalability requirements.
• Implement network segmentation, redundancy, and failover solutions.

• Network Administration and Maintenance-

• Monitor and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Manage IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and QoS.
• Perform regular updates, patches, and firmware upgrades.

• Security and Compliance-

• Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network access controls.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Conduct periodic security assessments and audits.

• Monitoring and Reporting-

• Use network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) for performance and uptime tracking.

Technical Proficiency:

• Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto equipment
• Routing & switching (OSPF, BGP, MPLS)
• Firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols
• Network automation (Ansible, Python scripting) is a plus
• SDWAN
• IP routing
