Job Details:
Role: Lead Data Scientist
Employment Type: 6 months & extendable contract
Work Location: Al Khobar, KSA
Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a max of 15-30 days of notice
Experience Required:
- Minimum 10 years in building and deploying machine learning/AI models for business or research applications.
- Experience in taking a model from experimentation to production, handling issues like scalability, model monitoring, and retraining.
- Proficiency in Python with a strong command on ML Libraries.
- Experience in working with large datasets, cleaning and transforming data for analysis.
- A good grasp of probability, statistics, and data distributions to build and evaluate models.
- Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised algorithms like Regression models, decision trees, random forests, support vector machines, k-means, and neural networks.
- Knowledge of metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall etc. and how to handle overfitting/underfitting.
- Experience in techniques such as cross-validation, grid search, and hyperparameter tuning.
- Ability to approach problems with critical thinking and apply machine learning in innovative ways to solve business or research challenges.
- Experience in Oil and gas domain preferred, but not mandatory.
