Role: DR Service Engineer

Technologies and Skills Required: 

• Manage and maintain disaster recovery infrastructure and systems at designated DR sites, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and backup solutions.
• Monitor the health and performance of DR services and infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure readiness for disaster recovery scenarios.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to procure, install, and configure hardware, software, and services necessary for disaster recovery operations.
• Conduct regular testing and validation of DR plans and procedures, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams during DR exercises and actual incidents, assisting with the activation of recovery procedures and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Collaborate with IT operations, security, and business continuity teams to review and update DR plans and procedures based on changes in infrastructure, technology, or business requirements.
• Document DR service configurations, procedures, and best practices, ensuring that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in incident response activities related to disaster recovery, including root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
