PSS Compliance Officer

We are hiring for Payment Screening Associate to join one of our major clients based out of UAE

Job Details:

Role- Payment Screening Associate

Work Location- Dubai, UAE

Employment type- Contract- 6 months & extendable

Job Description:

• Performing a review of all SWIFT payments referred from the PSS Level 1 team or from Business Units and within the agreed turnaround times, submitting recommendations for further review of the Checker.
• Perform review of all PSS alerts escalated from Level 1/2 PSS team. Ensure procedures are adhered to during the investigations and rationale of rejecting and approving is documented clearly.
• Reviewing transactions, analysing sanctions impact, advising on sanctions requirements and supporting Business Units and OPC in such matters.
• Review the alerts w.r.t. customer profile and ensure rationale is documented and discussed with the manager.

Requirements:

• Overall banking experience of at least 3 years of which at least 2 years should have been in a Payments/Remittances operational role or within a specific sanctions compliance role.
• A broad understanding of the various local and international regulatory requirements that affect the business.
• Good Knowledge of Bank’s core banking system (Finacle/FircoSoft), working knowledge of SWIFT payments, knowledge of the external sanctions and internal rules and policies around sanctions.
