We are currently hiring for System Engineer to join one of our major clients based out of UAE.
Job Details:
Role: L2 System Engineer / Lead System Engineer
Experience- 6-10 years of relevant experience
Employment Type: 12 months & extendable contract
Work Location: Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAE
Notice Period: 30 days or less
Job Responsibilities:
- Incident Management & Troubleshooting
- Handle escalated system-related incidents from L1 teams, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for servers, storage systems, and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
- System Monitoring & Maintenance
- Monitor system performance and health using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios.
- Conduct regular maintenance, including patch management, firmware updates, and backups.
- Configuration & Deployment
- Assist in the configuration, installation, and deployment of servers, storage solutions, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation of system setups, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
