IT Production Support

**Job Title:** IT Production Support **About the Role:** We are seeking a dedicated IT Production Support Engineer in Dubai with 3-8 years of experience to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot mission-critical applications and infrastructure. You will ensure high availability and performance of production systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain robust incident response processes. **Responsibilities:** - Monitor production environments and respond to alerts using industry-standard tools - Investigate and resolve incidents, ensuring timely root cause analysis and resolution - Perform routine maintenance, system health checks, and patch management - Coordinate with development, network, and infrastructure teams for change implementation - Maintain detailed incident and change logs in accordance with ITIL practices - Develop and update runbooks, knowledge base articles, and operational documentation - Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support coverage - Assist in performance tuning, capacity planning, and system upgrades **Required Qualifications:** - 3-8 years of hands-on experience in IT production support or operations - Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration - Proficiency with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Splunk, SolarWinds) - Experience with incident management and ITIL processes - Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation - Familiarity with database support (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 support environment **Preferred Qualifications:** - ITIL Foundation certification - Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE) or Linux (LPIC) certifications - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) - Proficiency in advanced scripting or programming (Python, Perl) - Previous experience supporting enterprise-level applications - Arabic language proficiency
