We are hiring for Infrastructure Support Specialist to join one of our major clients based out of UAE.

Role: Infrastructure Support Specialist- Oracle Core + Apps DBA

Work Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Contract- 12 months & extendable

Role Summary:

The Infrastructure Support Specialist accountable for the availability, performance, cost optimizations and risk management related to client infrastructure services.

Job responsibilities:

• Ensure that availability of services exceed the defined service levels.
• Ensure the services exceed the defined performance levels. Review performance on a regular basis and ensure proactive actions and communication to avoid service disruption
• Install, configure, patching and maintain Clusters and Standalone systems
• Define performance management parameters for related services.
• Ensure DR system readiness, support failover/failback activities and update DR runbooks as required

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of technical knowledge in oracle Core database & Oracle Applications.
• Experience in installations, Implementations, patching, upgradation and administration support for production environment.
• Experience in Middleware technologies.
• Experience in Oracle High Availability Technologies (Dataguard and Cluster database system).
• Knowledge of software’s/tools/utilities associated with databases is a must (Oracle Internet Directory, OEM, OAM, Audit Vault, RMAN, Oracle’s internet Application Server, Import-export, Data Pumps, backup and recovery models etc.)
• Knowledge in oracle database and application troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.
• Knowledge in oracle database and application performance tuning and optimization.
