Quantity Surveyors

**Job Title:** Quantity Surveyors **About the Role:** We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Riyadh team, responsible for managing cost estimation, contract administration, and financial control across construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile developments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare detailed bills of quantities and cost estimates for new and ongoing construction projects - Develop and maintain cost control systems, monitor project expenditure and provide regular cost reports - Assist in tender preparation, evaluation of bids and recommendation of preferred contractors - Administer contracts, manage variations, extensions of time and resolve contractual disputes - Conduct site visits to measure works, verify progress and ensure compliance with specifications - Collaborate with project managers, engineers and architects to optimize design and value engineering - Review interim valuations, payment applications and final accounts - Maintain accurate records of costs, materials and labor for audit and financial reporting **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related discipline - 5–8 years of hands-on quantity surveying experience in commercial or infrastructure projects - Proven expertise in cost estimation and value engineering - Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g. CostX, QS Plus) and MS Office suite - Strong understanding of Saudi building codes, FIDIC contracts and procurement processes - Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail - Effective communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency preferred **Preferred Qualifications:** - Professional certification (e.g. RICS, CIOB) or membership in a recognized surveying body - Experience with BIM-based cost management tools - Familiarity with sustainability standards and green building practices - Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) - Strong negotiation skills and experience leading subcontractor meetings
