**Job Title:** SVP Global Recruitment
**About the Role:**
As the SVP Global Recruitment based in Dubai, you will lead and execute a forward-looking talent acquisition strategy for our international construction and engineering business. You will partner with executive leadership to shape the workforce of tomorrow, driving both non-technical and technical hiring initiatives. Your deep understanding of strategic business objectives, construction drawings interpretation, and valuation & measurement will ensure we attract and retain top talent worldwide.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement a global recruitment strategy aligned with corporate vision and growth targets
- Lead and mentor recruitment teams across multiple regions, ensuring consistency and excellence in hiring practices
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to forecast talent needs and design workforce planning models
- Oversee technical screening processes, including construction drawings interpretation and valuation & measurement assessments
- Optimize and standardize recruitment workflows, leveraging data and analytics to drive continuous improvement
- Manage relationships with external partners, universities, and industry associations to build a strong talent pipeline
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, visa requirements, and diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Control recruitment budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and report on key performance metrics to the executive team
**Required Qualifications:**
- 1–10 years of progressive leadership experience in global recruitment, preferably within construction or engineering sectors
- Proven ability in strategic thinking and long-term vision setting for talent acquisition
- Hands-on expertise in interpreting construction drawings and blueprints during candidate evaluation
- Practical experience in valuation & measurement techniques for technical roles
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills at the C-suite level
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in recruitment metrics and data-driven decision making
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience working within the Middle East, particularly the UAE labor market
- Previous role at the SVP or VP level in a multinational organization
- Professional certifications in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD)
- Familiarity with leading Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technologies
- Advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, Construction Management, or a related field
- Fluency in English and Arabic
