Requirement:

  • A Business Analyst analyzes an organization or business domain and documents its processes, systems, or business models.
  • They assess the business model and its integration with technology. Business analysts help businesses improve processes, products, services, and software through data analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Ensure that requirements are clearly communicated and understood by all parties.
  • Business Process Analysis: Evaluate existing business processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop process flows, models, and diagrams to illustrate current and proposed processes.
  • Solution Development: Work with IT and other departments to design, develop, and implement new solutions or enhancements to existing systems. Ensure that solutions align with business objectives and requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. Develop reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Facilitate communication to ensure that requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and validation of new solutions to ensure that they meet business requirements and are free of defects.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end users on new systems and processes. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in business analysis tools and familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and identify creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and analysis.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Industry Knowledge: Better to have work experience in the Government industry / Educational domain
  • Technical Expertise: Better to have work experience in Jira , Proto Type design , Visio software or relevant tools.
