Sr Network Engineer Data/Voice

We are currently hiring for Senior Network Engineer to join one of our major clients based out of UAE.

Job Details:

Role: Senior Network Engineer

Experience- 8+ years (relevant)

Employment Type: Long term contract & extendable

Work Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Notice Period: 30 days or less

Role 1 - Sr Network Engineer (Data)

Job responsibilities:

• Administration of Cisco routers and switches, including VLANs, trucking, routing protocols, and redundancy setups.
• Manage, plan and design Network Services including capacity planning.
• Maintain all Active Components (Core, distribution, Access Switches, Wi-Fi, and WAN).
• Provisioning of network services (Install or enhance functions or features, hardware, software, and configurations)
• Perform regular maintenance, including diagnostics, updates (firmware, patches, updates, etc.).

Role 2 - Sr Network Engineer (Voice)

Job responsibilities:

• Configure, administer, and support Cisco UC solutions (CUCM, UCCX) including IVR, call management, voicemail, call forwarding, and call recording.
• Manage voice infrastructure: IP phones, softphones, faxes, gateways (PRI), setup/decommissioning, and certificate management (Jabber SSL).
• Handle user lifecycle tasks: onboarding/offboarding, softphone provisioning, phone extensions, and usage guidance.
• Perform monitoring, health checks, preventive maintenance, capacity planning, and ensure integration with monitoring tools.

Technical Skills:

• Experience in network operations, or a similar role within a NOC environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs), as well as experience with Voice network devices (Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Contact Centre Express (UCCX)
• Monitoring Tools: Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix) and experience in analysing logs and performance data.
