Quantity Surveyor

**Job Title:** Quantity Surveyor **About the Role:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai. As a key member of our projects, you will oversee cost management, contract administration, and financial control to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare and review detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities - Manage the tendering process and evaluate contractor bids - Administer contracts, process variations, interim valuations, and final accounts - Monitor project costs and budgets, identifying and reporting deviations - Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to stakeholders - Conduct value engineering to optimize project expenditure - Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers - Ensure compliance with local regulations and contractual terms - Assist in dispute resolution and risk management **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field - 1-10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying or cost management - Proven technical expertise in cost estimation, measurement, and bills of quantities - Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards - Proficiency with surveying software (e.g., CostX, Sage) and MS Office - Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities - Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines **Preferred Qualifications:** - Membership or certification from RICS, CIQS, or equivalent professional body - Experience with FIDIC contracts and UAE construction regulations - Familiarity with BIM software and integrated project delivery processes - Advanced degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline - Experience on large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects in the Middle East - Proven track record of leading junior surveyors or managing small teams
