Job Details:
Role: VeloCloud SD-WAN Engineer
Employment Type: 1 year & extendable contract, outsourced
Work Location: Dubai or Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a maximum of 15-30 days of notice
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN technologies like Velocloud is preferred
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Velocloud SD-WAN or similar SD-WAN platforms.
- Understanding of networking protocols, including IP routing, VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and QoS.
- Familiarity with cloud-based network services and hybrid WAN architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Velocloud SD-WAN platform, including the management portal and appliance configuration.
- Experience in network performance monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques like Wireshark, SNMP and SolarWinds
- Familiarity with security practices related to SD-WAN and the integration of firewalls, VPNs, and other security appliances.
- Velocloud Certified Professional (VCP) or Velocloud certifications, Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or similar networking certifications, ITIL Foundation certification are highly preferred
